Basic SWAT School

Barrow Sheriff’s Office is instructing a SWAT Course October 4-8, 2010. This course has been instructed to local city, county, SWAT, Narcotics, Fugitive Squads, the US Marshalls, the US military response teams, and teams from Alabama, Wisconsin, S. Carolina, and Texas. This is the 12^th year it has been instructed. It has been updated annually. Major topics are planning Operation Orders, Handgun Skills, Low Light (Surefire), Vehicle Takedowns, Ballistic Shields, Chemical Munitions, Breaching, Barricades, High Risk Warrants, Drug Raids, Hostage Rescue, and Clearing Techniques.
