CQB with Integrated Technology

Instructors: Jim Hardman & Dustin Mowery

Dustin Mowery is a recently retired police officer with 27 years of experience including patrol and SWAT. Mowery is a firearms instructor and a defensive tactics instructor.

This course merges traditional close-quarters battle fundamentals with the cutting-edge tools shaping modern tactical operations. Students will learn to apply CQB principles while leveraging integrated technologies such as robots from ReconRobotics.

Emphasis is placed on decision-making under stress, team communication, and optimizing performance. By the end of the course, participants will understand not only how to clear and dominate confined spaces, but why technology can enhance speed, precision, accountability, and training efficiency in today’s operational environment.
