TADLE Tactical Applications of Drones in LE

Instructor: Casey O’Farril and Richard Black

Cacey and Richard are the founders of the Alabama Public Safety Drone Association. They each have 14 years of LE Experience and have served on tactical units in various capacities.

Class description

TADLE is an introductory course to familiarize tactical operators and team leaders with the vast capabilities of UAS technology. From indoor flight capabilities to overwatch and situational awareness, UAS technology can be integrated into any team to provide quality, time sensitive intelligence for decision making: saving time and enhancing officer safety. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own equipment for use during the course (if available) as there will be live flight familiarization. We will also have equipment on site for students to use and test.

Class requirements

If participants possess their own drone equipment, they are welcome to bring it to class. This will allow for hands-on experience with familiar technology and provide an opportunity to tailor the training to specific equipment needs.
