Higher Level Rifle Manipulation Course
Class offered Wednesday or Thursday (8 hours)

Matt Dembowski was the 2024 ATOA/GTOA Award recipient and has over 15 years of law enforcement experience including Training Manager, SWAT, Georgia POST Firearms - Defensive Tactics - Use of Force Instructor, DEA Firearms Instructor, GTOA/ATOA Firearms Instructor, GASROE Instructor, 6 years of military service (US Army: 75th Ranger Regiment; Airborne; SOCOM; 4 combat deployments)
John Webster is the Training Captain for Walton County Fire Rescue. He has 39 years in Public Safety as an EMT, Paramedic, Firefighter, SWAT Medic and is an ALERRT Instructor, POST Instructor & NAEMT Instructor.
Class Description
*This is a very demanding course. Be prepared to be physically and mentally challenged and be ready to work.
*This is NOT a basic rifle course. Students should have a solid working knowledge of how to manipulate a rifle.
The focus of this course is on elevated and updated rifle precision and manipulation skills during tactical operations. This course offers students an enhanced understanding of human body awareness (body mechanics, athletic performance) as it pertains to physical coordination during combative engagements. The training offers students an increased sense of importance with the OODA Loop thought process, and how it pertains to the success of deadly force encounters. This is a high tempo, high intensity, high stress, and rhythmic firearms course that requires attention to detail, discipline, and high expectations.
Class Requriements
Handgun with three magazines & minimum 100 rounds of handgun ammo
Rifle with three rifle magazines & minimum 500 rounds of rifle
SWAT or tactical equipment
ballistic vest, ballistic helmet, boots, wet weather gear, cold weather gear, baseball cap, ear and eye protection
All rifles should be zeroed prior to the course start date
All handguns and rifles must be ready and in good working order prior to the start of the course.
Open to: Experienced LE Rifle Shooters - SWAT - Firearms Instructors - Military (No phones or cameras allowed during the course).
