James Ergas was assigned to and participated in combat operations with both the 1st 75th Ranger Regiment and JSOC. He then was hired by the US Marshals Service where he completed selection for the USMS Special Operations Group. He served for over 20 years for the USMS and completed his career as a Chief over all tactical and investigative training programs for the agency.
Class description
We will introduce students to multiple types and styles of ballistic shields. During the class we will discuss how to effectively deploy these various styles of armor in conjunction with the students mission set. Upon completion students will have acquired the necessary basic skills to deploy armor in support of their operational mission. Shields will be provided by Blue Ridge Armor.
Class requirements
Duty pistol and rifle. 500 rounds each.
