Our Mission

The Georgia Tactical Officers Association exists to provide assistance to officers and agencies within the state of Georgia in the area of tactical operations research, development, and training. We are committed to those in the tactical community who risk their lives to protect human life and apprehend criminal offenders. With support and commitment from our members as our foundation, we are driven to provide quality resources to the tactical community. It is our goal to research and develop innovative techniques and methods of operation related to tactical operations, and provide assistance in the development of training programs. By providing tactically significant information to special operations units and individuals we hope to aid the tactical community, and better prepare these individuals for the threats they may someday face.

To fulfill its mission, the Georgia Tactical Officers Association is dedicated to providing a professional organization for its members through effective training and information sharing.

β€œMen are seldom born brave but they acquire courage through training and discipline.”
